Severe lag when searching or switching from another app

This is a problem I've had since XPrivacyLua, which I was using on an older phone, so I believe it is an issue with the code that has existed since then. Whenever I first go to search for an app in XPL-EX, the app freezes up loading the search bar. Then, when I go to start typing, the app freezes up again. I've also noticed the app freezes up for a second whenever I switch from a different app to XPL-EX. Like I said, this has been an issue since the original XPL, but maybe you can fix it. Thanks!
