Tracking: type2 prover backend into develop

Tracking issues for the items we need to implement in order to support both type1 & type2 within develop:

• Adapt LinkedList approach with late state trie hashing for type2.

This doesn't take into account the rest of the proving flow, update of test payloads (#404), etc.
