Switching to a tab in not current window doesn't work

When I click on a tab in the list of selected tabs and that tab is in current/active window, firefox switches to selected tab, as needed.
But when I click on a tab that is in another window, that window goes to foreground with needed tab active for a moment, and then FFox goes back to original window.

OS: Windows 7 Pro 64bit
Firefox 68.0.1 64bit portable edition.
tabFx 1.3.1.

I just tested it and I face a similar behavior to the one you mentioned. I'll fix it asap.

Updating the current issue behavior:

Trying to switch to a tab (tab-target) that is another window (window-target) than the current one and if it's not the foreground tab of window-target, doesn't work sometimes. It successfully switches to window-target but there are frequent cases where tab-target doesn't become the active one.
