minipages

Is there any way to create something like a "minipage" where I can change camera orientations of ThreeDAxes, create and animate stuff? This minipages could be shifted or scaled and this would have no effect of the rest of the scene. For example if you want to set another ThreeDAxes right to the first one, it will not depend on the changed camera orientation of the first "minipage". Do you know what I mean? Is there any option to do this?
