ED: Trigger index update

As an adminstrator, I want to trigger an index update manually, in order to re-index in cases where necessary.

Is this really a job for the administrator? I can't imagine writing an email to IT every time i changed the description of my dataset.

I would have thought this is either automatic or triggered by the data editor?
