Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The timeout duration for a CommandExecutor is hard coded to 5 seconds.

Describe the solution you'd like
The timeout duration should be configurable. I can try to implement this, but I'd need some guidance.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Fork and manually change the duration.
