Some users report that for commands that take a long amount of time (such as creating an AKS cluster), they are unsure if the program is still running or if it is frozen. Can we relay additional output to the user to reduce abandonment? It appears that most command output doesn't get shown to the user until the whole command finishes.

Console output should be streamed to allow an appropriate UX behaviour. In the case of the IE interactive mode this content should be displayed in the UI so that it provides the same feedback as would be seen if running in the console itself.
This would have the added benefit of showing the user the output of the command that was just run (at present it simply moves to the next step).
