Context for renaming packages: Application Insights offers SDKs to both ingest data and to query data. The SDKs for ingestion and sending telemetry are outside of this repository. There's some fairly significant name ambiguity between them currently, e.g.:

Microsoft.ApplicationInsights -> send telemtry
Microsoft.Azure.ApplicationInsights -> query telemetry already in Azure.

The issue applies across languages. I've discussed this offline with a few folks from App Insights and SDK side, and we are working towards renaming these packages with Query for clarity prior to releasing a stable version of the data plane SDKs.
