How to check if home encryption was enabled at Linux Mint Cinnamon install or later on with ecryptfs-migrate-home

Except if Benjamin_Loison/shred/issues/17, if there was full disk encryption since Linux Mint Cinnamon install it is fine anyway. |

history | grep ecryptfs-migrate-home as all users (including history | grep adduser can help noticing possible manual home encryption respectively temporary ad hoc user. Above does not return anything it seems on the Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon owned by the person:

Running testdisk to see if some meaningful files/folders names or/and contents show up may help. |
