To recreate;

The test case would be some Amiga title, that works in either NTSC or PAL display modes....ie; sysinfo.adf

Launch amiberry, GUI -> Quickstart --- load sysinfo.adf file into DF0: ... //note: NTSC widget is unchecked
Goto Display panel ---> the NTSC/PAL dropdown selector is set to PAL, and cannot be changed to NTSC from this panel...
Go back to Quickstart panel ---> enable the NTSC checkbox option
Go back to Display panel ---> the NTSC/PAL dropdown selector is set to NTSC, but cannot be changed to PAL from this panel...
Quit amiberry...

Observations:

The NTSC/PAL dropdown selector in the Display panel is, in effect, ostensibly useless ~ you have to go to the Quickstart panel to effect any change here.

As you noted previously, an A2000 machine type, is basically an expanded A500 machine type ~ if one is creating an A2000 machine profile from the various GUI panels, (and using .hdf files), the same overriding premise is evident --- you have to go back to the Quickstart panel, to effect any change between NTSC/PAL display modes.

Expected: Changing the NTSC/PAL dropdown selector in the Display panel, to actually work and be reflected in Quickstart panel?

Note: whdload.lha loading is unaffected of course ~ it correctly changes between NTSC/PAL based on the loaded title.

TIA
