Crio icon in menu output

The crio logo in the WordPress admin area appears to be output using the font icon included with the theme, and also appears to be output with a svg image file included in the theme. This causes it to output twice in some situations like these:

With boldgrid plugins activated (tested with backup plugin and inspirations), and crio active theme:

• this is output twice from the image file and then the font.

Without boldgrid plugins activated, and crio active theme:

• this has a gap from the :before element still being populated for the font icon, but the icon i guess isn't found.

The menu doesn't always display like this, and seems to only be in certain circumstances. To replicate this happening I went to pages, and then selected a page to edit and saw the icon output wrong.
