Hey there,

I've been using your fantastic JavaScript extension that harnesses Google's speech recognition API. I must say, it's pretty cool, and I'm loving it! However, I've noticed a small quirk that I thought we could tackle together. Your extension sometimes adds periods after pauses during transcription, which, I understand, can be a result of Google's natural behavior.

Here's a friendly suggestion: What if, once the message is received and sitting pretty in the input field, we could do a little tweaking to get rid of those unnecessary periods that pop up after pauses? Instead of diving into the intricacies of the speech recognition API, we could address this after the message is received but before it's sent out in its entirety. It might make the whole experience smoother and more user-friendly.

I'm no JavaScript expert, but I thought this might be worth exploring. Your extension is already great, and this could make it even better!

What do you think of this idea? Any thoughts or suggestions on how we could make this work?

Looking forward to hearing from you, and keep up the good work!
