Currently it is possible to produce a Hovmoeller diagram using Cate, but the method is a bit convoluted, as it requires manually aggregating the dataset over latitude and then producing the appropriate plot.

A more user-friendly approach is to have a dedicated plot_hovmoeller() operation that does the aggregation automatically.

  • Implement the operation
  • Handle DimName type on the GUI
