Every setting that RetopoFlow changes on start and exit should have a corresponding preference for disabling this behavior, just in case. At the moment that includes:

  • Selection mode
  • Snapping
  • Retopology overlay
  • Auto-merge
  • Show object origins

Note: I should also add a setting and preference for Fade Inactive Geometry
