Recently accomplished:

• Release of Forest-0.6
• Moved to Network Version 17
• Reduced snapshot loading times by 75%
• Cut build times in half
• Increased test coverage from 32% to 69%
• Command-line interface for sending FIL

In progress:

• Daily snapshots for mainnet
• Sync testing for PRs
• Debugging and Logging improvements
• Dependency management and removal of monkey-patched libraries
• A more elaborate, user-focused documentation

Future plans:

• Collect statistics about client versions in the Filecoin network
• Long-term testing of the Forest node to ensure it can withstand a production environment
• Improve Forest sync to allow transitioning between network versions (continuous operation)
• Ability to sync from genesis and provide snapshots
