I’d like to propose a change to our Standard Factions where we would replace the respawn markers which are currently type “respawn_unkown” with the name “respawn_(whatever side faction is on)”. We hide these by setting the Alpha to 0% so that the players wouldn’t see it one the map.
We could instead change the marker type to “empty” which is an unique system marker in-game, which the Zeus can see on the map, but it does not show up to players. This way the Zeus still can see where the marker is, which is useful when moving the marker around as well (as you get feedback that the move was successful), but the players don’t see the marker on their end.
This way the Zeus has more information/feedback with the respawn markers, while the players should notice no change.
