The shortcut Ctrl+Alt+H doesn't bring up history view. I am using ClipIt v1.4.5 latest.

I tried to install from command line sudo apt install clipit also from ppa. Same problem!
sudo apt install clipit
ppa
Environment:
Kernel: 5.4.0-81-generic x86_64 Desktop: Cinnamon 5.0.5 Distro: Linux Mint 20.2 Base: Ubuntu 20.04 focal
No ideia what's going on.

Not working in Ubuntu 20 and 22 from repo. Until this is fixed, one can try copyQ and parcellite, they are much similar to clipit.

@sidmint Have you tried to build a version from master? It helped in modern Fedora.
