What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.enable Remove NoCopy Save File Protection
2.try to copy or move save files for games like Sonic 4, Sonic Colours and
Spongebob Squigglepants in the Wii data management screen.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Boxes for Copy and Move should be selectable which would allow for transfer or
copying said save file.

What version of priiloader are you using? On what ios/system menu?0.7, 249/4.3U

Do you have any IOS patches installed? (if so which ios and what
patch?)Whatever modmii installs.

What are your wii system menu settings

As far as I can tell this is just a visual bug, the Copy and Move buttons are greyed out but still work just fine if you press them.

So I re-checked this and I was partially right. The buttons are greyed out, the Copy button works regardless, but the Move button does not. Additionally, games with partially copyable files (such as VC suspend saves) copy correctly to the SD card, but do not copy back correctly to the Wii. So, it kinda works, but it could definitely use some improvements.

aha, but im not sure if this has to do with me importing the hack to the new hash system incorrectly or the hack itself.

if its the hack itself then there is not much i can do :/

i just had some time doing research on this one and it doesn't look nice.
so apparently the bug must have been in the old hacks format, as i verified what gets written to where with the old hacks format ( https://wiibrew.org/wiki/Preloader/hacks ).
this means the bug was in it, even before me porting it all.

i have no idea what that SM code does nor do i have the knowledge to investigate this issue...
anyone is free to look at the SM ASM and submit a fix to the hack :/

If the Wii that you are copying the save file to doesn't have the NoCopy patch it won't let you copy the file from SD
