Just a heads up, the special remote unfortunately won't work with Amazon Cloud Drive anymore:

That's disappointing. The beginning of the end of Amazon Cloud Drive, I guess. Thanks for reporting this.

I have to wonder if people will start to extract client API keys out of other Amazon Cloud Drive clients. This will either lead to ugly games of cat and mouse, or people will simply take their business elsewhere.

A data storage offering that simply stops working one day is not a data storage offering at all.

For now I've updated the README in commit 1e76436 - I'll wait and see what happens next before I decide what further action is warranted.

As a temporary workaround I've written a special remote that makes use of another ACD client. It works with existing configurations for git-annex-remote-rclone.
