Tracker not tracking

I'm playing the FTB Departed mod pack in single player using the current version. I added TCNT for the usual reasons. Other than rebinding the GUI hotkey to '.', I have not done any configuration beyond installing by dropping the mod jar into mods. The GUI opens fine when I hit the hotkey. I had already scanned some nodes bit I have added a few new ones since the install and none show up on the GUI. Do I have to do anything to add a new node when I find it?
