User reported bug in reported gene field

User reported that the "Reported gene" field contains unexpected values. The reported gene field should contain a gene symbol or "NR" if no gene info is reported/extracted. It also contains other values e.g. "-" or is left blank.

I think the user is accessing the data via API but I investigated in the download file (from 14th July 2020 release).

When investigating I also found that many of the gene names in the "Reported gene" field are corrupted and changed to dates when opened in excel.
