Smooth scrolling in weekly view

Feature description

It would be great to have an option that allows me to smoothly scroll through the weekly view instead of only seeing the current week.

Why do you want this feature?

It would be helpful to see events, that, for example, go past the end of the week, on a single screen. It would also be helpful in case I want to see just the coming few days but also the current day.

Additional information

Starting the weekly-view with the current day somewhat helps but it's still restricting because going to next week is still a hard jump and I might want see events that are then cut apart. Showing more than 7 days is sadly also not very helpful here, because it then still jumps to the start of the next section and cuts the events off.
