Feature description

I read in this thread that there is a notification action to copy the OTP in a message. I don't get this option though.
What am I missing?
P.S. Can you also point me to the code that parses the OTP from the message?

Why do you want this feature?

Easy access to OTP copy/paste instead of scrounging for the OTP and then having to remember it.

Fossify Messages doesn't yet do any parsing by itself. The copy button is added by the system.

Oh, I get it now. I had enhanced notifications disabled in settings, since I was relying on some other app to parse OTPs.
I enabled enhanced notifications again, and I can see the copy actions in Fossify Messages notifications :) It's a hit and a miss however; sometimes it is not able to parse OTPs. Google Messages does a decent job in giving those copy OTP actions.

Maybe Fossify Messages can do something like this natively if this is a popular enough demand.

I would also love to see this.

In my case I've had enhanced notifications turned on the whole time, though haven't been able to copy TOTP codes to the clipboard...

@bober757 I ended up creating an Automate routine for the same.
I saw this repo earlier but seemed like it hasn't been maintained. Does it work well?
