this package (some code revamp might be needed to make it work properly on FT) allows having a device in wireless client or in general behind a router to then forward any LAN UPnP request sent to FT to the upstream router (assuming it supports UPnP itself)

Portproxy is a NAT-PMP and UPnP proxy that allows clients located in one network
(usually LAN) to communicate with NAT-PMP servers and Internet Gateway Devices
(a "server" that supports UPnP) that are located in different networks.

This software is expected to be typically used on a CPE device type.
