Some questions:

  1. How long will we maintain redirects?
  2. How can we get GA online?
  3. Should we handle redirects at the cgov pages level or 11ty?

Hey @jperson1, here's a spreadsheet with the old and new URLs. Let me know if this works/if you have questions.

Why did we decide on

fac.gov/search-resources

and

fac.gov/audit-resources

as opposed to what feels like a more natural

fac.gov/resources/audit

and

fac.gov/resources/search

?

@jadudm I decided on fac.gov/search-resources and fac.gov/audit-resources because that's how the site naturally breaks down, based on our card sort testing with users. If we went with fac.gov/resources/audit and fac.gov/resources/search, that would require having fac.gov/resources as a parent page and would create yet another dividing point for users. The option we're going with removes an additional step for users, keeps us from having to create extraneous pages, and keeps our URLs shorter and tidier, which improves SEO.
