Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Currently, starting to swipe, then lifting your finger, will "end" the word you're typing and start a new one. Nintype/Keyboard69/Keyboard71 so far as been the only keyboard that allows you to start swiping a word, peck a few letters, and even staty swiping again all within one word.

Describe the solution you'd like
Please provide a description of what you would like to have. The clearer it is described, the better it can be implemented the way you want it.

Allow words to have mixed-method typing

Use case
Provide a clear and concise description of your use case and what you thus think is missing, and why.

Some words (for example "that") would require the right thumb to go from t -> h, while the left thumb pecks a, then the right thumb pecks t again. Without mixed-method typing, it becomes a bit tedious to make sure your slide typing never "ends", and can in some cases even make it more effort to slide-type certain words by making the keyboard travel more than it needs to be

Describe alternatives you've considered (if any)

N/A

I understand the slide typing comes from a third party library, so I'm not sure if this can be added anyway. I didn't see an issue on the report regarding this, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

It's something interesting, I never used it or knew it existed, but I had seen something similar here, the person mentioned an iOS keyboard. and out of curiosity I tried to do this now 😂 I even managed to drag both fingers and click on a specific key, but it doesn't always work, sometimes it works by waiting a few msecs between one and the other. it would be cool.
