Hi,

First of, thank you for starting a list of Māori words, that's amazing!

What's the preferred method of getting correction into word lists?
There are a few mistakes in the list. Te Reo doesn't have the letters s or f, for example.
It also makes no use of apostrophes. I was wondering whether some other Polynesian
languages like Hawaiian or Samoan may have snuck in ...

Tēnā koe @LeTink

Kei te pēhea koe?

Happy to help out. I saw about this project in Reddit and I am keen to work on getting the list of kupu (which are exactly 5 words). I am looking at a way to scrap it off te aka or from a dictionary. Let me know if you are keen to help - and let's work something together

Unforutantely, I am not the author (i thought of working out together with you to make a fun te reo version) - it was great that you have worked on it (will be forking your version) and make a te-reo maori version out of it - which is what i am going to do and perhaps promote it. Hopefully the original author is willing to extend it (and i am happy to help to maintain it!)

Scraping Te Aka shouldn't be too hard, I don't think (unless they do rate limiting of sorts), it has a bit over 13,000 words ... and easier option might be the Williams dictionary ... My primary question on the project page was about their preferred method of getting it fixed/extended, though. ;) Ngā mihi, Tink
