Describe the bug
Tapping the search will make it disapear instead of prepping it for use.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Go to alpha homepage
Click on lens for search
prepare to start entering search term and tap into search field
See error

Expected behavior
search fields stays there and accepts my input before search is triggered and results are shown

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

Device: Samsung Galaxy S7
OS: Android
Browser Firefox, Chrome
Version very latest

Additional context
testet on 2 not so smart phones of type Galaxy S7 with latest updates and various browsers
