Reduce prometheus retention time #174

In order to better manage cardinality we need to

  • Note down the average resource usage of prometheus on aws-prod
  • After syncing with the app team etc. on how or if we want to store this data on the long run, we need to reduce the retention time to something reasonable enought to handle

Currently on prod we have MONITORING_PROMETHEUS_RETENTION=365d

On dalco-prod we intend to shorten it for v1.56.0 : https://git.speag.com/oSparc/osparc-ops-deployment-configuration/-/commit/166805fa3988198562a1712fbbecde2e1a9fd43c

On aws-prod, as nicely suggested in a discussion with @GitHK @matusdrobuliak66 , we could have a AMP (AWS managed prometheus) scrape our prometheus and keep only selected metrics there with a long retention time

Wont fix it due to time-constraints. AWS-Prod retention time remains 1y
