How do we utilize 2 disc games like MGS? If I have both images in the same folder, the plugin will no longer load any games?

Unfortunately, I don't think this is possible.

Whenever I try to implement a way to make the game show up twice in GOG Galaxy, the second one will not show up.

I can't also make it have a slightly different name like "Baten Kaitos (Disc 2)" for example, because then GOG Galaxy fails to get metadata for it and will say "Sorry, we couldn't load the data".

Until GOG Galaxy adds a way to make alternate launch parameters as described here, the only feasible way to implement it would be making the user switch the discs outside of GOG Galaxy 2.0 maybe using a settings menu that I haven't implemented yet or the user config file.

It will still launch the game though but it won't have any metadata at all other than a custom title, date, tag, cover, background, and icon.

With the current plugin, the second game doesn't appear at all but with the experimental version I tried, it was a less than stellar experience as I mentioned before.

Having any unrecognized ISO in the ROMS folder will cause the plugin to show Install instead of Play. How about the plugin adds the unrecognized file to the list of games using the filename, even without metadata. Users could then add info themselves.

Can you just enable disc switching? I don't need the two disc version to appear twice but just ensuring the disc switching feature from dolphin works through GOG would be great. I posted about that on the wii page when i meant gc
