Jediterm: 3.44, commit 8366f2b; Java: openjdk version "21.0.2" 2024-01-16, OS: Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS.

I've noticed that ESC key is processed three times slower than other keys. How to reproduce:

  1. run bin/JediTerm from distro
  2. $ mc + enter
  3. Press F1 to show help.
  4. Press ESC to hide help.
