Characters not being added to series or volumes when saving

What happened?

When attempting to add a new character from the People tab in the series editor or the Tags tab of the editing single volume, the UI appears to work correctly for adding the character, however, after pressing save the character is not saved.

I have other series that have characters added (notably using the Migration Script), and they are still preserved and work as expected. I however cannot add these existing characters to new series either.

What did you expect?

The character is saved to the series or volume

This got missed when tagging on one of the nightly releases, but it is fixed in the nightly branch.
