This is a bit outside scope, but relevant to the purpose of node normalization.
A KG project may have a set of SSSOM maps to define ID and category remapping. These are assumed to be static, but changes in the sources or in the Biolink Model will happen over time. We want to update the maps accordingly.
For IDs, this means the universalizer should be able to determine if IDs have been changed and/or obsoleted.
For categories, this means checking each ID against the type entities in Biolink and their categories, if available (or outsource to OAK).
