Maestro currently only passes in any keyword arguments that are explicitly specified on the command line with the --pargs flag. It would be useful to also pass in the OUTPUT_PATH and SPECROOT. It might also be worth passing in all of the statically defined variables from the specification since those might be useful depending on what parameters are being generated.
