i got some Zyna Instrument and added Arp+Octave+Up&Down with pretty fast timings
when i'm playing midi - it's alright, but each time i'm starting record on the second chord lmms goes in frozen mode and then closes up, got this in terminal

NOTES TOO MANY (> POLIPHONY) - (Part.cpp::NoteOn(..))

Use less notes. Maybe replace chords with additional voices in Zyn.

No it wasn't, you just said you had fast arps, that's a lot of notes per
period.

@oeai can you please provide the exact steps to reproduce to your original bug report and post a comment when you've done so?

That message comes from ZynAddSubFX, the limit is 128 simultaneous notes/part (i.e. one Zyn track in LMMS). I know I've seen the same message when fooling around with extremely long pad envelopes. Either ease up on the arpeggios or use shorter envelopes, so the note slots are released earlier.

No idea why recording would make a difference here. Are the notes being sent both from the keyboard and the track to Zyn?

@softrabbit @oeai Is any of you able to create and share a project that presents this issue?

Closing due to lack of response and lack of steps to reproduce by OP. @oeai Please reopen when you've taken the time to supply both of these. :)

I guess we should add the "POLIPHONY" as a separate liguistic bug...
