Zynaddsubfx instrument bank window blank until clicked

Current stable-1.1 and going back to at least 1.0.95 (from Skypce's PPA), running on Ubuntu 14.04 (both 32 and 64 bit) seems to have this little problem: After selecting an instrument bank, the Zynaddsubfx instrument bank window doesn't display anything until clicked.

• Add a Zynaddsubfx to the project
• Open its plugin settings window
• Click show GUI
• Select in the menu Instrument | Show Instrument Bank...
• Select a bank in the dropdown in the instrument bank window
• If the window seems empty, click it.

I believe this to be an upstream issue...

@fundamental posted this in the other report:

if there are any bugs which affect only the 2.4.4 code then I'm unlikely to really want to fix those if it is not clear that the git HEAD is also affected which would make a difference for the 2.5.0 release.

Probably safe to close this out as a duplicate. Hesitant to mark the other as won't-fix tho, as these are usually quick fixes and I'm unsure how much longer well be on our current Zyn version.
