add the decay, dry,wet, gate knobs and on off button like you have in the fx box when you open a plug in. add so your plug in picker for fx can see fx in folders.

Where do you want to add it, you say? Also, you must give arguments why this is good, or else it will probably rarely seem useful for others than you, we can't read your mind.

He sort of implies then location when he says "like you have in the fx box"

Yeah, I'm not sure how difficult this is or if the VST effects have a standard location for this...

plug in picker for fx can see fx in folders.

The picker would be a good option (much like the VSTi picker), but seeing in folders is already an open bug report.
