Immergas Victrix Zeus 25 enters summer mode #98
Comments
Hi, What do you mean by summer mode? What is the boiler's behavior? |
This is the behavior of boiler when controller is turned on (see video). Perhaps some logs would help to understand what is happening? The strange thing is that this started happening out of the blue without changing anything in settings/setup. trim.11E02BE0-0B26-46E7-9D35-24905A2A691B.MOV |

Perhaps telnet log suggests anything?
EDIT: DHW seems to be still working fine. see log below with hot water running
EDIT2: I have disabled Equitherm, rebooted the boiler and it now seems working again. Looks like something was stuck for some reason (and previous reboots of boiler/controller did not help)

Hysteresis turns off the heating and this is normal. What happens if you set the target temperature 2 degrees higher than the indoor temperature? (with equitherm on) |
Thanks. I've tested your assumption and it is exactly what happens. If temperature above target, heating is turned back on. Is there any setting to fall back to some lower temperature target instead of turning off completely (i.e. summer mode)? |
No, that's a bad idea. |
Hi,
I've previously reported support for this boiler. It worked fine for a while, but now noticed that boiler enters summer mode without any changes to settings. Restart boilder/controller didn't help - only disconnect of controller helps.
What can I try to understand where the issue is?
