Adjudicator returns to spawn mid fight and my game freezes, sort of.

I've tried to fight the Ajudicator a few times, but shortly after beginning the fight, the boss returns to the middle of the arena and everything freezes except me.

F3 looks normal, I can still move around, break blocks and type commands, but i can't pick up items or place blocks, effects stays at 0:00, commands don't work/do anything and i have to use task manager to kill the game so i don't have a crash log either, it just says "crash code: 1"

I'm playing with Dawncraft 1.33, but i haven't had this anywhere else in 50+ hours playtime.

I don't know if there's anything else i can do to provide more info, so let me know if there is.
