After applying changes and making the decision to fall back to the saved backup the windows font and spacing are not returned to the way they were before running the tool. How can I determine what the original font settings and spacing was before running tool

Windows only provides a setting to change the font size. That's the "Text size" or "Make text bigger" option in Settings. WinSetView has no effect on that setting.

You can also edit the registry to change the system font as per this tutorial. But WinSetView also does not touch those font settings.

So, I'm confused as to what windows font and spacing got changed. In Windows 11, there's the "Compact View" setting. That's just a simple toggle, in Folder Options, that controls the spacing between lines in List and Details view. The Restore would restore that setting though.

Can you provide some details on how you changed the windows font and spacing?
