there's always people who get stressed out by ratings, so lichess itself has an option to hide all ratings from the site here: https://lichess.org/account/preferences/display

it would be nice if lichess4545 had such an option too.

this one looks easy to do, and i am sympathetic to the use case. i might have a go at it; ask me how far i got before you give it a try yourself.

my main problem here is actually where to put the setting. it does not fit with the notification settings, and putting it directly on the player dashboard feels wrong somehow. probably that is where it should go though. no, it should go next to dark mdoe.
