Information about the REST API appears in several places: Essence Viewer, the Wiki documentation from the original repo, and even the REST API itself (help info is returned for the base route /). Many of the routes and descriptions shown in this API info are incorrect. It seems that the help info is based on the API Proposal in the original Wiki documentation, however the actual implementation of the REST API seems to have diverged a bit from that initial proposal.

Perform a careful review of the REST API implementation and update the help documentation accordingly in all places.
