Configure Wifi AP beacon MT7688 wifi driver

Hi,

For a specific use, I need to configure the beacon sent by WIFI AP of the MT7688 in order to add en IE. Thanks to this another device scanning wifi network can identifie my network thanks to the specific IE included in the beacon.

How may I do this with my Linkit Smart 7688? Is there some iwpriv that I can access to configure the driver?

Hi, do you need to append an new Information Element to existing beacon frame? An IE that is fully customzied (proprietary to others) and your Wi-Fi client would parse the IE specifically?

I create an information element that needs to be added to the platforms software access point's beacon information element.

You say that it is possible to add two IE? I think one custom IE would be ok. I'll need to do some test on Wi-Fi client to see how it behaves if there are two IE.
Could you tell me how to append a second IE to existing beacon?
An how to fully customise the IE of the MT7688?
