I was reading your code for travelling SW, and specifically swa_get_peaks
For the subjects I was using, it seemed to me that the bumps removal had zero effect. here the picture of the first 2000 data points, which is identical before and after running line 23 to end. (using default parameters)
If I remember correctly Brady used a moving average filter for smoothing the signal for the same porpous.
But maybe (probably) I missed something in your scripts! Hope you will help me to better understand your code..

I'll have to check this out! I avoided smoothing the signal because it can change the amplitudes of the waves etc, but this might be the only way to go to get stable results if the 'bump-removal algorithm' isn't effective for some cases.
