I suggest adding a challenge system, but one that reduces the potential of spammers. My idea is thus. Users can create a list of games they are interested right away, hereafter referred to as a "challenge list". All users will be able to see what games are wanted to be played and by whom via a new "Challenge" tab. So user 1 can challenge user 2 to any game on user 2's challenge list. Doing so will prompt user 2 with an audio cue and message asking if they will accept the challenge. If the challenge is accepted, the game launches for both players.
Ideally this will allow any user to find game with some one quickly with out having to ask who wants to play what. And will encourage users to stick around idling knowing that if a user joins wanting to play their preferred game, they can easily be challenged, with out getting unwanted challenges
Challenges can potentially tied with rom downloading as well. Allowing a user to challenge for a game they themselves don't have, by automatically downloading and challenging the opponent when its ready. This may encourage a user to try new games once he sees that another is interested in playing.
