Since Articulate relies heavily on the input from the microphone, removing extra input such as music, white noise (such as a fan), and other noises not coming from you can help.

Train your computer to recognize your speech

Training the Microsoft speech recognizer is the best way to improve the recognition in Articulate. Remember that since Articulate is very new that not much time has been put in to improve our end of recognition. Further improvements in our software will help greatly.

Speech Recognition uses a unique voice profile to recognize your voice and spoken commands.

  • Open Speech Recognition by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Ease of Access, and then clicking Speech Recognition.
  • Click Train your computer to better understand you.
  • Follow the instructions on the screen.
