Create an easier mechanism to share a single document

If I have a single document I want to share with one person, the easiest way right now is to create a project and add the document and person to it.

Can we make this easier?

We need to be careful about having multiple ways to do things - having all sharing going through projects is simpler on both code and explaining to users. If we want a UI that helps in terms of making it easy to add a single document to a new project and share it with another user all at once, I think that could be good, but it should be something that makes the existing tools easier to use rather than adding on more complexity.

Did the old DocumentCloud have a feature where you could generate a private link for a single document?
