I just discovered your database and think it's an excellent aid to research. However, there does appear to be an error in the formula for calculating the volume of a conical cephalopod:

Cone (1.047 * (W * 0.5)^2 * H)

This formula seems correct if W is the diameter of the shell and H is the length. But the records I examined assign the variables differently. For instance,

http://bodysize.nescent.org/bodysize/view/4618

gives a Width value of 8150 mm, which is the inferred length of the shell, while the given Height value is 350.0 mm, which is actually the diameter.
