Create a benchmarking workflow

To have a reliable measurement of the workflow performance, it would be very useful to create a new workflow (triggered only manually) that creates a certain amount of commits into the queue (maybe a few hundreds) and calculates some data: elapsed time on each step, memory consumed, ...
This would help us with further optimizations and improvements.
