Since alchemiscale is approaching 2 years since our first release come April, it makes sense to prepare a publication for JOSS. This will give alchemiscale a citeable reference beyond Zenodo releases (#327).

It may make the most sense to line this up with an alchemiscale 1.0 release. We have yet to decide when such a release will take place, but the feature set has been stabilizing and some time during 2025 may mark a good time to make such a release.
